Stuck on following tutorial using aws

So i followed the tutorial, but instead of running the docker image, i installed the dgraph on an aws using the : From Install Scripts (Linux/Mac).

However, i cant get ratel to connect to itself, i have checked the connections are ok and ports are not blocked.
What else is missing from the document or am i supposed to know why its not working.

Ratel is supposed to connect to the HTTP port (by default 8080) of Dgraph server. So try that for the URL.
