Update: We have a NiFi processor upserting 5 nodes in dgraph. Two of the nodes were datetime’s with hourly indices on them. We changed the datetime node to integers (dropping both indices). We added one index back to accommodate for le range operations.
This update resulted in a consistent 2x performance increase! (This is on top of the 10x increase we already saw by swapping to not gt vs le noted above.)
Note: The auto-conversion of the format from datetime to integer did not take long and progress can be monitored in the logs.
